For over 30 years, Central United Methodist has partnered with the Fayetteville Public Schools to provide children with a magical Christmas and allow parents a relief from the pressure of financial hardships. Known as the Good SAM Christmas Families project, each year we serve dozens of families all of whom are chosen by the FPS school counselors. We average 60-100 children each year that we provide gifts for, in addition to clothing, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and food for Christmas dinner and over the winter break. We also give each family gift cards for gas and groceries. Good SAM Christmas is 100% funded by volunteer donations and hours.
