Book Study: "Why? Making Sense of God’s Will" by Adam Hamilton
Where is God when tragedy and suffering strike? When natural disasters, personal hardships, or acts of violence shake our lives, we often wrestle with questions about God’s role and presence. If God is all-powerful and loving, why does suffering exist?
In Why?, best-selling author Adam Hamilton offers fresh perspectives on this age-old question. Rejecting simplistic answers, Hamilton explores the complexities of God’s will and presents core ideas for understanding:
- God honors our free will, even when it causes pain.
- God never abandons us, especially in times of suffering.
- While God does not cause tragedy, God can bring blessing from it.
Join us Sunday evenings in February at 6:00 PM in the Wesley Building (Room 310). Participate in-person or via Zoom.
Let’s wrestle with these tough questions together and discover hope in the midst of life’s challenges.
