Central Women's Ministry

Central Women’s Ministry is designed to provide opportunities for women of all ages to seek Christ. Whether you are looking for a bible study class or a one-day event, our ministries and activities are available to all. Find encouragement to face the personal ups and downs we all experience in life as we gather together to lift up Jesus Christ and share of His work in our lives.

Mom's Life is a bible study for moms looking to grow in their faith. Surround yourself with other moms and enjoy a rich environment full of friendships that will encourage you through the ups and downs of motherhood.

The Gathering is a daytime Bible Study for women at Central. Our vision is for women to come together weekly to study God's Word and apply it to our lives, while at the same time creating a supportive community through this regular time of study, fellowship, and prayer. The Gathering meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. on the second floor of the Student Ministries Building. Childcare is available upon request.

Book Club
meets on the third Thursday of each month at 12:00 p.m. in Wesley 304. Women read one book a month and get together with a brown bag lunch and a brief discussion on how the book has impacted their lives. A wide variety of books by Christian authors are used.

Connections is a group of women who meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. to study the Word of God and encourage each other in our spiritual journeys. Registration for new studies is available in the spring and fall.

United Methodist Women is a supportive, inclusive Christian membership organization where women like you grow spiritually, develop as leaders and serve and work to create a world in which all women, children, and youth thrive. Central United Methodist Women meet at various times during the month. Childcare is available for all meetings and events upon request.

Sisterhood of Hope It won't take you long to fit in with this amazing group of women who have come together in support of each other through one of life's hardest adjustments, the loss of a spouse. Monthly small groups, social outings, and guest speakers are just a few of the experiences this tight knit community shares. Sisterhood of Hope meets the 3rd Thursday of every month from 6pm to 7:30pm. For more information contact Megan Luhrs, , or call 479-442-1803.
