Central Women’s Ministry is designed to provide opportunities for women of all ages to seek Christ. Whether you are looking for a bible study class or a one day event, our ministries and activities are available to all. Find encouragement to face the personal ups and downs we all experience in life as we gather together to lift up Jesus Christ and share of His work in our lives.
Connecting Point serves as a place where women have the opportunity to come together through events like brunches and luncheons. Typically these events have a speaker, time for open discussion, and prayer. Join us as we learn more about the call God has for each one of us to know Him and make Him known. Mom's Life is a bible study for moms looking to growing in their faith. Surround yourself with other moms and enjoy a rich environment full of friendships that will encourage you through the ups and downs of motherhood. The Gathering is a daytime Bible Study for women at Central. Our vision is for women to come together weekly to study God's Word and apply it to our lives, while at the same time creating a supportive community through this regular time of study, fellowship, and prayer. The Gathering meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am on the second floor of the Student Ministries Building. Book Club meets on the third Thursday of each month at 12:00pm in Wesley 304. Women read one book a month and get together with a brown bag lunch and a brief discussion on how the book has impacted their lives. A wide variety of books by Christian authors are used. Connections is a group of women who meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm to study the Word of God and encourage each other in our spiritual journeys. Registration for new studies is available in the spring and fall.
United Methodist Women is a supportive, inclusive Christian membership organization where women like you grow spiritually, develop as leaders and serve and work to create a world in which all women, children and youth thrive.
