The GoodTimers

Based on the words of the Psalmist "This is the day which the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it." Central GoodTimers, a ministry for ages 60 and over, is being led by Pastors Emeriti Dr. Jack Wilson and Rev. Tony Holifield for the purpose of coming together and celebrating each day as God's gift with rejoicing.

Already 200 members strong, Central GoodTimers plan to have four events a year. This lively group is sure to celebrate, rejoice, and be a continued blessing to many as they fellowship together.

S.A.L.T. Safety Academy Workshop

The S.A.L.T. (
Seniors And Law Enforcement Together) Academy consists of a full morning of speakers representing state and local agencies such as the Attorney General’s office, police department, sheriff's office, and fire departments, and other agencies that serve seniors. A vendor fair featuring businesses that serve seniors will also provide information and giveaways.  Topics such as identity theft, scams targeting seniors, weather safety, Smart 911, elder abuse, and community resources will be covered. Questions? GoodTimers Branson Excursion
Tuesday, December 5 | Cost: $45
Depart from church parking lot at 12 p.m.
On Tuesday, December 5, the GoodTimers will leave the church parking lot for Branson by charter bus at 12:00 p.m. to attend the 3:30 p.m. performance of The Miracle of Christmas at the Sight and Sound Theater. Afterwards, the group will share a meal together before returning home. Registration is $45 per person which covers the cost of the show. Transportation is provided, but group members will be responsible for the cost of their meal and any personal purchases. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity for rich Christian fellowship and a heartwarming Christmas experience.
