Steps to Becoming a Central Member
 
Central United Methodist Church is a body of believers united by our desire to follow Jesus Christ and committed to fulfilling the purposes set forth in our Mission Statement. If you desire to join with us and want to be supportive of the beliefs, fellowship, and mission of Central, we warmly invite you to explore becoming a member of the Central Family.
 
Steps to Becoming a Central Member:

Step 1: Indicate on the Friendship Pad during one of the worship services that you "Wish to Join Central" or contact Lora Hayes, Director of Hospitality Ministries, at 442-1812.

Step 2: Register to attend Central's Discovery Class which meets every four to six weeks. This class, led by Central's pastors, covers church history, distinctive United Methodist beliefs, Central's Mission and Vision, steps to salvation, membership vows and expectations for membership. A light meal is served and childcare is provided.

Step 3: Visit with one of Central's pastors to review the United Methodist vows and ask/answer any questions that you have. If you have not received Christian baptism, you may be scheduled to do so.

Step 4: Contact Lora Hayes and schedule a Sunday to be recognized during a service of worship celebration and be received and confirmed as a new member of Central.
