Parking @ Central
Parking at Central on Sunday mornings is available in several locations around the campus as well as lots on adjacent blocks. The main campus lot is accessible from Highland Street and contains visitor, handicap and senior citizens reserved spots in addition to general parking. Additional lots are located across Dickson Street at the Hathcock Building, in the gated lot north of the US Post Office on St. Charles Street, in the Auto Zone lot on the corner of Lafayette and Highland and at Washington Elementary School. However, the best option for parking on Sunday morning is Central’s parking deck, which can be accessed through the main entrance on Lafayette (third level) or through our main campus parking lot (first level). There are handicap spaces in the deck and the first level has a few spaces for wide vehicles. All spaces in the deck are at least regulation width of nine feet wide. The deck offers 215 parking spaces and has signage on the exterior indicating if the parking deck is at full capacity. |
