Compassionate Ministries for Congregation and Community

Register for Spring Central CARES Classes Here!

At Central we know God desires the church to be a place for healing and restoration. Central Cares stands for Compassion, Accountability, Recovery, Encouragement, and Support. Central's Care Night meets every Thursday and offers classes and groups designed to meet a wide variety of needs. Our Care team ministry offers hope to those who are dealing with grief, depression, finances, addiction, and compulsive behaviors. There is a place for you and you don't have to face your struggle alone.

If you are looking for a place to serve, Central Cares offers several ways to get involved through visiting the elderly, Christian caring through one-to-one ministry, or outreach in our community. Central Cares for congregation and community.

CentralCARES Grief Share Course

It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.

“Going to GriefShare feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering.”

GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.

At a church Central’s size, this correlates to about 1,000 people struggling with symptoms of depression. LiveWell is a course developed by Dr. Stephen Ilardi, in which participants show significant to substantial decreases in depression symptoms after 8 weeks.
